Michael Onofre is a seasoned mathematics instructor with over 13 years of classroom experience and a proven track record of excellence. His students consistently achieve a pass rate above 95% in both AP Calculus AB and BC — a testament to his rigorous yet student-centered approach.
Currently serving as the Mathematics Department Chair at Marin Catholic High School in California, Michael leads a team of educators, designs curriculum, and mentors students through advanced coursework and independent research. He’s also the moderator of the school’s Math Club and coordinator of the Junior Fellowship Program, which supports summer academic projects.
Michael holds multiple graduate degrees, including a Master’s in Philosophy and a Graduate Certificate in Math Leadership from Harvard University (2025), with a Master’s in Mathematics for Education in progress. His interdisciplinary background in biology, philosophy, and theology adds depth to his teaching style, making him not only a math expert but a well-rounded educator.
