MATH 200 (Full Course)

Math 200 – Calculus I begins with a review of foundational functions—including linear, exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, inverse, and composite functions—along with continuity, ensuring students have the necessary pre-calculus skills before progressing to advanced topics. The course then covers limits, derivatives (power, product, quotient, chain, exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric), higher-order derivatives, implicit and logarithmic differentiation, and applications such as curve sketching, optimization, motion, and extreme values. Integration topics include Riemann sums, definite and indefinite integrals, substitution, the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, area, average value, and antiderivatives.

Prerequisite: MATH 100 or equivalent.
