Andy Lin is a second-year Mathematics major specializing in the Computer Science track at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His passion for mathematics and computer science began in high school, where he earned a place on the honour roll and built a strong foundation in advanced mathematics. He further developed his skills through participation in international competitions such as the University of Waterloo's Fermat Mathematics Contest and the Canadian Computing Competition (CCC), gaining exposure to rigorous problem-solving and algorithmic thinking.
At university, Andy has consistently performed at a high level in core subjects including Calculus, programming, and data structures. His academic journey reflects a balanced mastery of theoretical reasoning and practical application, and he is known for his methodical approach and clarity of thought.
