Calculus I introduces students to the foundational concepts of university level calculus, including limits, derivatives, and integrals. The course builds from essential pre-calculus skills to advanced applications such as motion, optimization, and area under curves. Students develop both conceptual understanding and technical fluency through analytical, graphical, and problem-based learning. Modeled after top-tier university programs, this course provides rigorous preparation for Calculus II and for future studies in mathematics, science, engineering, or economics.
Prerequisite: MATH 100 or equivalent.
